If, gentle reader, you are the Head of State or the Head of Government of any of the numerous countries that kept their gold reserves at the Bank of England, then you need to get that gold out of there.
Today, the High Court has ruled that the British Government could recognise anyone it pleased in your office, thereby giving that person ownership of your country's gold, even while the United Kingdom continued to conduct normal diplomatic relations with you.
