We laughed at Donald Trump for saying that testing for Covid-19 created more cases of it, as if they had not been there until someone had found them.
But now we are expected to believe that the reason why no one has ever found any sign that Russia had somehow rigged the Scottish referendum, the EU referendum and the 2019 General Election is because no one has ever looked.
If they were to look, apparently, then the act of looking would call the evidence into existence. Just as testing for Covid-19 creates cases of Covid-19, presumably.
