Parliament should move to Durham. The public school House of Commons should sit in the Union Society Debating Chamber, but the more trade union-based House of Lords should sit in the much grander Miners' Hall.
Putting the Commons in a part of the University would satisfy the weird public school fetish for slumming it. But trade unionists rightly insist on being kept in the style to which they have fought to become accustomed. The "Pitmen's Parliament" would meet that requirement.
