Black people are twice as likely as white people to die of Covid-19, with BAME people in general not far behind. It would be downright racist to lift or relax the lockdown, to the point of being actionable in court.
Of course, race is not a biological category. BAME people are at greater risk because we tend to be poorer, and therefore worse-housed and so on, or we tend to work in the public services, or both. White people in the same position are precisely that: in the same position.
But BAME people are far more likely to be so. And it is poorer and duskier communities that need to be reached by the tracker app, despite our well-founded suspicion of being tracked by The Man. See also how this crisis has been seized upon by the people who have long wanted rid of cash, in order to keep track of every penny that we spent.
And in either case, from where is the technology supposed to come? China? Somewhere along the line, it will have to. That is the world. Then again, China is far ahead of Britain, both in containing this coronavirus, and in developing a vaccine against it. But the Anglo-American Big Pharma racket must be protected.
Not least by Ben Nunn, who has passed seamlessly from having been Keir Starmer's Political Adviser to being the Labour Party's Director of Communications. Nunn was very recently the Associate Director of Incisive Health. That is a major driver of NHS privatisation, and it was founded by a Special Adviser to Andrew Lansley.

Neither the app nor the vaccine, however, will be coming from Turkey. I want to know how anybody ever expected 400,000 Turkish PPE gowns to make it to Britain in the back of a yellow Reliant Regal. Nobody checked samples before handing over the cash, which was a sacking offence if ever there were one.
Yet nobody has resigned over this, which came complete with an RAF plane sent to Turkey to collect the useless gowns. Nor will any such resignation be called for by Pharma Starmer, who has been demanding an "exit strategy" on behalf of his corporate sponsors since even before his coronation.
