Impossible To Refudiate

Sarah Palin never quite said that she could see Russia from her house. But it rang true enough that she might have done.

And Andrea Leadsom has not quite said that a childless woman could not be Prime Minister because she had no stake in the future.

But it rings true enough that she might have done. We all just know that that is pretty much what she thinks.

Palin and Leadsom resemble each other in many ways.

All of which boil down to the apparent creation of both of them purely in order to satirise the nasty stupidity of the right-wing base in America, or the stupid nastiness of the right-wing base in Britain.
