What a missed opportunity. Princess Lilibet was born in the United States, and she will be 55 in 2076. What a way it would have been to have marked the Tricentenary, by electing a President whose first cousin was King George. But now, it cannot be.
Meanwhile, over to Princess Louise and Prince James, whose father's mother was the monarch when they were born, and whose commitment to this country is unimpeachable.
They need to decide what they want.
