Last night, North West Durham Constituency Labour Party held a Zoom event for former Labour voters, to hear why they had abandoned the party.
Also on Zoom last night was a rally in support of the Official Left's candidates for the National Executive Committee of the Labour Party, addressed by Jeremy Corbyn. One of those candidates was until last year the Member of Parliament for North West Durham.
It is inconceivable that the organisers of the local event did not know about the national one. And yet, they clashed. Think on.
