In case you missed it, the real news today is that nearly 100,000 people in England are now catching Covid-19 every day, with the number of people infected doubling every nine days.
But is that the lead story? Something has to change, indeed. The Prime Minister, for a start. The Secretary of State for Health. And the Leader of the Opposition, if he can be so described.
