Jeremy Corbyn has been suspended from the Labour Party, and the Whip has been withdrawn from him. It must be mortifying for him that he will no longer receive a weekly instruction, which in any case he has rightly been ignoring, to abstain on the decriminalisation of torture, and on the legalisation of the State murder of trade unionists. At least one living former Leader of the Labour Party is one of the world's leading war criminals. Is the party going to suspend him, too?
Any Labour candidate is now a member of the same party as Tony Blair, but not of the same party of Jeremy Corbyn, and any Labour parliamentary candidate is at least pretending to believe that Keir Starmer ought to become Prime Minister. I am a declared and active Independent candidate at the next General Election for North West Durham, where the right-wing Labour machine's latest, yet probably stale, product really is going to believe that. Please give generously.
