"The EHRC will report this week, blah, blah, blah." Who cares? Seriously, who on earth still cares about this? Exactly how many people ever did? It did not stop Labour from taking 40 per cent of the vote in 2017. And it was the betrayal of Brexit by, to and for Keir Starmer that caused the collapse of the Labour vote in 2019. It was not this.
Most British Jews, of whom there have only ever been extremely few in the first place, did not vote Labour even when the Leader of the Labour Party was a Jew. You might as well have cared what the miners thought of Margaret Thatcher. However strong the opinion, it was never going to make any electoral difference. And there were far more miners or ex-miners in Britain in the 1980s than there have been Jews in Britain at any given time, including the present moment.
A tiny, and overwhelmingly Conservative, minority did not like the Leader of the Labour Party, who in any case is no longer the Leader of the Labour Party? So what? And it is hardly as if we were currently living in a time that was short of real news.
