Tier Two is only somewhere to put places on the way to Tier Three, and as of today the Government cannot give anywhere a better Tier Three deal than it has given to Greater Manchester. So if losing a third of your pay stops you from paying your Council Tax, then just do not pay it.
If Dominic Cummings and his family can have £30,000 written off, on a house that never had planning permission in the first place, then why should you pay, either? Even if you are a council tenant, then you cannot be evicted if the rent is up to date, no matter what else you may owe the council.
