The people who are backing Joe Biden wanted Bolivia's lithium, so they put it around that the elections in Bolivia had been unfree and unfair, leading to the overthrow of the Aymara President Evo Morales in a coup. But Bolivians, some four fifths of whom are at least partly indigenous, have risen up. And in any case, there is lithium in Cornwall. As much as we might ever need.
Not least in the person of Elon Musk, who was a direct financial beneficiary of it, the Liberal Establishment cheered on the Trump Administration's white supremacist military coup in Bolivia, the country that has hitherto been assumed to contain 70 per cent of the world's reserves of lithium. "We will coup whoever we want! Deal with it," Musk tweeted on that subject.
Lithium is of course essential to the "Green New Deal" and what have you; to the projected array of gigantic public subsidies to the transnational corporate enforcers of Political Correctness, of wokeness, and so forth, all the while dispossessing indigenous peoples on a mind-boggling scale. But they are fighting back. And in any case, we need not have any part in this. There is lithium in Cornwall. As much as we might ever need. Please give generously.
