Unfinished Business

It is not that Lady Butler-Sloss is related to the late Lord Havers. Everyone whom David Cameron has ever met is related.

It is that she will be between 85 and 90 before she ever writes up.

    She's a nasty piece of work.

    I know fathers who've been denied access to their children because of her insistence on ruling that whatever the mother says is gospel whenever she was in charge of a family court dispute.

      But she is retired. In fact, she is coming up to 81.

      This really does look designed to ensure that she is dead before she can ever report.
