It is possible that no one does, but does anyone really doubt that this is the original gangster state, and still the world leader in being one? All British people outside the gang openly take that as a given, and you can tell the made men from the fact that they occasionally try and deny it.
But if anyone genuinely does not believe it, then they need look no further than the fact that Boris Johnson now stands a realistic chance of becoming Prime Minister. If he came from any other background, or if this were not a gangster state, then he would be in prison, along with several other candidates for Leader of the Conservative Party.
The same is of course true of the New Labour lot, of whom only Tony Blair himself was the real thing, but of whom the rest were at least dutiful enough servants to be worth protecting. See also Hillsborough, Orgreave, Jean Charles de Menezes, Grenfell Tower (which now looks likely to have to be resolved in the city of the American Declaration of Independence), and on and on it goes.
Another hung Parliament is coming, however, and we need our people to hold the balance of power in it. A new party will be registered before House of Commons rises for the summer recess, even if I have to pay for it myself, ongoing lawfare or no ongoing lawfare.
And I will stand for Parliament here at North West Durham even if I can raise only the deposit, which I could do by going pretty overdrawn, although that was not how I was brought up. I would still prefer to raise the £10,000 necessary to mount a serious campaign, but I am no longer making my candidacy conditional on having done so. In any event, please email davidaslindsay@hotmail.com. Very many thanks.
