Whatever Next?

According to someone called Anneliese Dodds, the process by which Jeremy Corbyn has been readmitted to the Labour Party was "politically corrupted". Politics in a political party? Whatever next? You'll be next. You will not be allowed in any party, including a party that had been set up by Laurence Fox or by Nigel Farage, if anyone had even so much as accused you of being, well, anything at all, really.

The Electoral Commission already has to approve the name, aims and Leader of a political party. Now the Equality and Human Rights Commission, or some other such body acceptable to it, will decide who was even to be allowed to join, based on a mere allegation that is defined as its own proof.

Beginning with the election of Jeremy Corbyn as Labour Leader in 2015, and accelerating after the result of the EU referendum the following year, there has been a ferocious fightback by the people who were used to their own way. The second knifing of Bernie Sanders, and then the overthrow of Donald Trump by Joe Biden, have emboldened them even further.

Now that the United Kingdom has been replaced with the Principality of Nut Nuts, then they scent victory beyond their wildest dreams. They can almost taste it. Our last hope, if we can hold onto it, is Independent candidacies at the next General Election. I am a declared and active Independent candidate for North West Durham.
