David Miliband is obviously after Tooting.
But if he were either not selected there, or not elected (and it was a Conservative target seat in 2010 and 2015), then how could he go back to New York? How could he ever go anywhere?
Is Miliband still registered to vote in the United Kingdom? Where? How?
But wouldn't you just love to see George Galloway beat him? You would, and you know that you would.
That is not a Left-Right thing, or an Old Labour-New Labour thing. It is just because.
Now, that would be an extraordinary rendition, indeed.
Miliband v Galloway would have been hysterically funny after the Chilcot Report as Miliband went down in flames and probably lost his deposit. But it looks like we are going to have George back in Parliament in time for him to respond to Chilcot with the parliamentary speech of the century.
