Celebrity threesomes have nothing to do with public policy.
Anything with a desire to report them may be called many things.
But it is not a newspaper.
Political prisoner, activist, journalist, hymn-writer, emerging thinktanker, aspiring novelist, "tribal elder", 2019 parliamentary candidate for North West Durham, Shadow Leader of the Opposition, "Speedboat", "The Cockroach", eagerly awaiting the second (or possibly third) attempt to murder me.
And now they can't. Real news or nowt, about time too.

ReplyDeleteThe law that protects celebrities will protect politicians too.
Freedom of the press matters far more than "human rights."
If it merely "protects" politicians from the publication of details of their threesomes, then so be it.
DeleteThe details of their threesomes are rather relevant-we learned a lot about Bill Clinton from the details of his various liaisons.
ReplyDeleteWe learned rather more about him from his political decisions. The other stuff is still distracting people from those, to the political benefit of his wife.
