UKIP is now peculiar to Wales, and already not much liked there.
It managed to elect a Member of the European Parliament in Scotland, but it failed to elect anyone to the Scottish Parliament last week, so it is clearly on the slide.
It experienced a 50 per cent reduction in MPs, and its one who remains, so to speak, is now effectively an Independent.
And today, the Leave campaign itself has gone ballistic with ITV for allowing Nigel Farage on the air at all, declaring that to do so was, for all practical purposes, to join the Remain campaign.
Give that a moment to sink in.
Oh, well, the emerging conservative movement in 1950s America had to impose an absolute ban on any contact whatever with either the John Birch Society or the followers of Ayn Rand.
It would never have made any progress if it had not done so.
