Those RBS Job Cuts
Even though public ownership has restored RBS to profitability. How does that work? As with the previous branch closures, because the EU, no friend of public ownership, requires it. I read about the RBS cuts this morning. What a travesty. Another example of "socialism for me, but not for thee."
ReplyDeleteOn the topic of the EU, it is interesting that in the United States, many conservatives see the European Union as a kind of nascent socialist superstate. It seems like that could not be farther from the truth. The EU is more like a nascent neoliberal superstate.
There is nothing nascent about it.
