But it is Pythonesque to advocate the adoption of this foreign and deeply flawed "device of demagogues and dictators", to quote Attlee as favourably quoted by Thatcher, in order to defend and restore our parliamentary liberty, sovereignty and democracy. For that, we need better parliamentarians. Let's get to it.
