Nothing could do the Democratic Party more good in 2012 than a landslide this year for the Republican Party's "remarkable" candidates. 1994 all over again? That barely begins to describe it.

I agree. Apparently Obama is touting an infrastructure spending bill and is doing the smart thing and avoiding the word "stimulus" and is instead calling it "development" and, well, infrastructure. My only problem is that it is not big enough, but I'll take what I can get.
Also, even if this bill is just a result of the Republican surge in polls, I'll take that too, although something like this should have been a long time ago.
The pro-life, pro-family, pro-worker and anti-war voice of an economically social democratic, morally and socially conservative patriotism towards the North of England, the United Kingdom, the Commonwealth and Christendom. One Nation politics, with an equal emphasis on the One and on the Nation. Conservationist, not environmentalist. Far too conservative to be capitalist, far too left-wing to be liberal.
