On The Other Side

8 Days: To The Moon And Back was on BBC Two at nine o'clock last night. It was superb. If, on the other hand, you had nothing better to do than to watch Panorama, then by all accounts it gave you what you must have wanted.

People who had somehow managed to become embittered Blairites despite being barely old enough to vote, whining that they would not now be parachuted into safe seats by the time that they were 30, as they had been led to expect.

But, as I say, I did not watch it. Nor will I be doing so. It is, however, welcome that the Labour Party is finally confronting this as it always should have done, by pointing out that the whole thing is a confection of lies by frustrated careerists who will never accept the Leadership of anyone apart from Tony Blair, whose hand behind this is visible for all to see.
