Why is the Labour Right wasting its time trying to defend Baroness Hayter? She compared the Leader to the Führer. Come on. A line does have to be drawn somewhere. Call it the Siegfried Line.
Not Corbyn's style, I suppose, but imagine that, say, John McDonnell had called Blair "Hitler" back in the day. How would those defending Hayter have reacted? How would Blair have reacted? How do they think that Blair ought to have reacted?
