Off Our Turf

A Mayor and his unelected coterie, sitting in Newcastle while presuming or pretending to run everywhere from Berwick to Barnard Castle, but in fact doing nothing more than commission private companies?

What a ridiculous idea.

And always doomed to get nowhere.

There are tribal turf wars in Nigeria that would be easier to resolve than the ones within and between the local authorities in the North East of England.

Thank goodness for that.

This scheme was really designed to abolish local government altogether.
