John Redwood.""Prosperity, not austerity, is what we want. It is what we can have, as soon as we leave the EU and cancel the subscription.""http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/2016/09/25/goodbye-eu-goodbye-austerity-britain/
Good to see him agreeing with John McDonnell. Who, unlike him, has always thought this. They are both 65. It is just that Redwood is a lot slower.
Redwood's entire CV runs "Fellow of All Souls, MP for safe seat". Never lived, not really. Don't know his exact background, but it's not hard to guess. No wonder he tried to take down John Major, what a hilarious failure that was. Beaten by Major, I mean the shame of it. He was as bad as Kinnock. Imagine that, being as unsuccessful as Kinnock.
Still, he does now accept that the Bennite Left was right all along about the EU. So give him that, at least.
