The defender of charity executives' pay packets, Steve "Sir Stephen" Bubb, is an old mate of Tony Blair's from Oxford days of yore.
He has come a very long way since he was one of the surcharged
and disqualified Lambeth Councillors under Ted Knight.
He himself is now a knight, following the New Year's Honours List in 2011.
