The Bone And The Block

It was Peter Bone who was the de facto Leader of the Opposition at today's Prime Minister's Questions, channelling his inner John McDonnell to demand that the Government force the bailed out banks to charge less interest from borrowers while paying more to savers.

Tell me anything that Keir Starmer said. Go on. I bet you can't. I know you can't. But they are determined to gush over this block of wood because he is backed by all the nastiest people in Britain and by many of the nastiest people in the world.

For all the many, many failings of Jeremy Corbyn's Leadership, he never took Labour to being a mere six points ahead of the Conservatives in London, to being behind them everywhere else including in the North East, and to being only half as popular as they were in Wales. When does the coup start? Why has it not started already?

But let nothing you dismay. The Budget of March 2020 has ended the era that began with the Budget of December 1976. The Centre is the think tank for this new era. Please give generously.
