But to have been reported by a 15-year-old's dad?

They must have had something really bad on him. Normally "I met her in a pub/club" would make it impossible to prove you didn't reasonably assume she was at least 1. 15 in a nightclub, you're right, it's shocking parenting.

ReplyDeleteObviously the law is the law, but in many civilised countries 15 is over the age of consent.
ReplyDeleteThen they are less civilised than here, by definition. Adolescent experimentation ought to be addressed in other ways, but this kind of thing is very much a matter for the criminal law.
