It was IS-K in Kabul, apparently, although obviously nothing so vulgar as evidence has been produced. IS-K is not to be confused with the IS-Daesh that we supported, and officially still do support, in Syria.
That, in turn, is not to be confused with the IS-Daesh that we bomb in Iraq, because the Sykes-Picot Line is a real frontier. Oh, yes, it is. As, of course, is the Durand Line. Oh, yes, it is.
Watch out for how we are going to have to back IS-K in Pakistan, where the ISI is very closely allied to IS-K's allies in the Haqqani Network, while bombing it in Afghanistan, as we are doubtless going to start doing in the very near future, if we have not already done so.
If you were in Parliament, you'd be one of about six MPs who knew what the Durand Line was.
ReplyDeleteSo let's make me one of those six.
