There is no shortage of milkshakes, or of chicken, or of anything else. There is only a shortage of cheap labour.
Not of labour in general. But of ununionised labour that was prepared to work in appalling conditions for next to nothing.
Brexit has indeed caused this deficit. As the EU was integral to causing the previous, enormous surplus.

ReplyDeleteWe do not yet have it. But both Blairism, with its Eurocommunist roots, and what was once Trotskyism have been heading down the same road of late. If the candidate of either took my union down that road, then I would contest the General Secretaryship in 2026.
