Do not let the withdrawal of all six English clubs from the European Super League distract from the need for radical change to the situation that produced this scheme in the first place.
In particular, legislation for the German-style supporters' stake of 50 per cent plus one needs to be introduced immediately, and enacted as quickly as possible. That system has proved itself this week.
