Beginning at 20:00, the interview with Norman Finkelstein here is absolutely unmissable.
Two claims are made about Israel by its rather fanciful partisans on the Right. One is that it is a bulwark against Islamist terrorism and all that. The other is that it is a standing contradiction of multiculturalism. Both are the opposite of the truth.
Israel demanded and secured the taking out of the bulwark against Islamism in Iraq, complete with its awards from the UN for women's education. Iraq no longer receives any such awards. In alliance with the mothership of Islamism, Saudi Arabia, Israel is very actively seeking to do the same thing in Syria.
Israel has long had designs on Lebanon, where taking out the government of President Aoun (a Maronite Catholic, of course, and supported by Hezbollah) would now mean handing over that country to the people against whom the Christians and Hezbollah were fighting valiantly together in Syria.
Israel and the so-called Islamic State pointedly never attack each other, and Priti Patel had to resign for seeking to divert British aid money to an IS field hospital in the Israeli-occupied Golan Heights.
Israel's internal security service, the Shin Bet, created Hamas in order to destabilise Fatah, just as British intelligence created the Muslim Brotherhood in order to destabilise Arab nationalism in Egypt, just as the British created or indulged numerous Islamist opponents of the campaign for Indian independence, just as the Americans effectively created what became the Taliban, and so on.
There is more, but you get the idea.
Meanwhile, Israel has largely given up on a Jewish majority, and will now settle for any kind of non-Arab one, declaring any such person to be Jewish within the understanding, first of the Law of Return, and now also of the Nation-State Law.
Israel will take in Russians who refuse to eat kosher food, and who insist on taking their Israeli Defence Force oaths on the New Testament alone, a position that can have nothing to do with Russian Orthodoxy, which keeps Old Testament figures as Saints of the liturgical calendar, and which venerates icons of them.
Israel will take in, or at least it now contains, Russian Nazis; yes, really. It will take in East Africans who have invented a religion based on the Old Testament brought by Christian missionaries.
Israel will take in Peruvian Indians "converted to Judaism" and then put on the plane, in a single and remunerated action. Absolutely anyone can convert to Judaism, just as absolutely anyone can convert to Islam. Jews are no more a "race" than Muslims are. Merely to look at them is to see that they are all descended from converts. Such a conversion makes anyone Jewish enough for Israel, and it always has.
Even the Pashtun, who are now classified as a Lost Tribe with a view to airlifting them to Israel in future, since at least they are not Arabs. They are Sunni Muslims, of course. But that is not the same thing.
With the endorsement of the Nation-State Law by Richard Spencer, and with the prominent display of the Israeli flag at the events of the likes of Tommy Robinson, watch out for the Nazi connection, too.
The overtly Nazi Azov Battalion in Ukraine proudly displays its Tavor rifles. No one disputes that it has them. And there is only way of getting them. Israel is fighting alongside Islamists in the Middle East, and Israel is arming Nazis in Europe.
Israel was created by the long-planned forcible eviction, not without fatalities, of some 750,000 people on ethnic grounds. That was, of course, a racist endeavour. That does not affect the rights of anyone who is there now, some of whom are fourth generation Israeli. But the facts of history are the facts of history. The creation of the State of Israel was a racist endeavour. Of course it was.
