Coming To Town

It is not pronounced "Toon". I don't know where that ever came from.

Anyway, Jeremy Corbyn's visit to Newcastle became ticketed early this afternoon.

Within an hour, the Tyne Theatre, a fabulous Victorian building that is not a small venue, was completely sold out.

1100 tickets. Eleven hundred. Gone from start to finish on a Friday afternoon in August.

We are not talking about the Toby Young Fan Club here.

We are talking about the biggest mass political movement in living memory.

  1. Press saying Corbyn expresses support for Stephen Sizer. If ye dinnae ken, he's an Anglican vicar censured by the CofE for his views on Israel, including the suggestion that Mossad did 9/11. Could ye no elect Wolfie Smith instead?

    1. You know absolutely nothing about Stephen. No surprise there.
