In this case, Tony Blair can easily afford to contest the open seat of Durham West and Teesdale, right here in his old County Durham stomping ground, at the 2020 General Election.
Of course, I shall also be doing so.
But I cannot imagine that that would bother him.
I'd love so much to see him beaten by you. You could make it about so many things, including the difference regretting the dissolution of the Union that had been the USSR, which most people living in it had wanted to keep, and being on the payroll of the Soviet successor dictatorships. But there are so many other things, too. I'd just love it.
