Criminal Responsibility

Three cheers for Russia's withdrawal from the International Caucasian Court, of which it was an early supporter.

Three out of five Permanent Seats on the UN Security Council will soon be controlled by figures who were in a position to devise and implement something better than the ICC.

Under Jeremy Corbyn, Labour ought to go into the 2020 General Election with a commitment, not only to join that vast improvement, but to send Tony Blair to it.

  2. What a lot of rot.

Slobodan Milosevic, whom the ICC pursued relentlessly, was white the last time I checked.

Russia is a criminal state and Putin is a crook, so it can hardly be a signatory to the International Criminal Court.

    1. It is. It was one of the first. And the ICC didn't deal with Yugoslavia. That was, and is, a different body entirely. You have no idea what you are talking about.

  3. Trump did say he was going to put "her" on trial. Now this would be a spectacular way of doing that. Call it the Tripoli Tribunal.
