This photograph, from last October, is from Britain First's own website.
The description reads, "During a day of action on Saturday, activists from our fast-growing Northern brigade visited no less than 26 mosques across Dewsbury and Bradford."
And there he is. Tommy Mair. With four others, plus whoever took the picture. At least.
Some lone wolf.
The Police have said, and it is very unusual for them to do this kind of thing officially, that their main line of enquiry is his Far Right activity.
Once those dominoes start to fall, then people with any history on the Right over the last 40 years had better be very, very, very afraid.
The days of treating even support for the NHS as Loony Leftism, while maintaining no right flank whatever on the officially designated political mainstream, are well and truly over.

"Once those dominoes start to fall", you said it. The 80s boys in the Hang Mandela t-shirts are toast. Whenever anyone mentions Venezuela, Hamas or Hezbollah, ask which British MPs any of those have ever murdered. Hell, even Galtieri never did THAT! As for the IRA, people Corbyn merely talked to 30 years ago now stay overnight at Windsor Castle. But people Cameron, Gove and all the rest of them pretty much were, and definitely used to get where they are today, have murdered an MP in 2016, while Cameron, Gove and all the rest of them were in government.
ReplyDeleteThen there is the question of Far Right activity, including among MPs, within MI5, MI6, the Special Forces (the founder of the SAS tried to stage a coup in the 1970s), and so on.
DeleteA well-known neo-Nazi murdered an MP, and they had no inkling that it was going to happen? At best, they were asleep on the job. At worst, they were an awful lot worse than that.
Especially in the case of MI5, which Peter Hitchens still wants to disband even if John McDonnell officially no longer does.
It is possible that this has set the scene for the Police to launch one of their periodic turf wars with MI5. Well, good luck to them, say I.
He's been charged. Let's see if this ever gets to trial. The links of the Far Right to the political mainstream from the 70s on are a bigger scandal than child abuse or anything.
ReplyDeleteThey are already very actively trying to have him declared insane. As you say, let's see if they get away with it.
DeleteOne in four people have mental health problems at some time in their lives. Mair's psychiatric history is negligible, far less than is admitted by Glenn Beck, for example. What matters are his politics. This was a political murder, a terrorist act.
ReplyDeleteVery well said.
DeleteThe court will decide who is insane ...
ReplyDeleteIf it's on the level ...
Ya get me ...?
Level ... square ... compasses ...
Mair is many things, but I very much doubt that he is one of those.
DeleteProbablement, but he may serve their ends. Anyway, apologies: not a lone wolf after all. Looks like a group of imbeciles, but imbeciles can be dangerous. Cf. Munich, 1919 ...
