Yes, another enormous demonstration in the heart of London but ignored by the BBC. Although not by ITV, I do have to say.

And yes, another case of blacking out such an event by covering some or other Royal happening instead.

The doings of the Royal Family are almost never anything to do with anything of any real importance.

Even their undeniable work for trade is a small sideline compared to that of politicians, businesspeople and trade union officials.

But they are of interest to enough people to be worth one of those specialist channels in this digital age. BBC Royal? Why not?

That would free up the news to be about the news.
