It says it all that there would not be a Commons vote on another intervention in Libya.
Of course, that is obviously what Libya needs, after the tremendous success of the last one.
That last one was reason enough for David Cameron to lose the 2015 Election.
Labour did not help itself by mostly voting for it. But Ed Miliband did not actually do it.
There are still procedural ways of forcing a vote on this issue.
Jeremy Corbyn's vote against the first war in Libya was reason enough to make him Leader against three candidates who had voted in favour of it.
He must now employ those procedural means as a matter of the utmost urgency.
With a three-line whip. Any MP who would vote for this a second time would be of nothing less than questionable sanity.
