However, the question of British arming of Israel, never mind the sending of the Royal Navy literally to fight that foreign and not particularly pro-British country's battles (and that without the Commons vote that we were promised before any further wars), does need to be addressed. Whatever the New Labour machine throws up can seek to defend it on the stump.
