Chris Foote Wood's history of the days-from-defunct Derwentside District Council is really very good.
But Chapter Seven, Characters Past and Present, promises on the contents page one character on whom there is mysteriously no entry...
And where are certain others, such as Stanley Double-Barrelled? Why the omission?
