Indeed.
How can the interests of economies (and nations) as diverse as Bulgaria and Sweden be served by.........whoever from wherever.
The point surely is that those opposed to the whole "european project" should welcome this nonsense rather than criticise it.
The whole daftness and fraud of the "Europe" was effectively ignored because of perceived prosperity.
Rather than criticise Europe we should enjoy the spectacle of it collapsing under the sheer weight of its own contradictions.
