In the near future, watch out for their cry that inflation was "not as high as it was this time last year," i.e., just after the invasion of Ukraine and just into their failed, masochistic response to that.

“Failed, masochistic response”-you mean imposing the highest levels of taxation in 70 years…which the IMF pinpoints as the reason our economy is the only G7 economy due to go into recession. Like a masochist, Hunt still refuses to contemplate tax cuts to stimulate growth-all while wasting untold billions on “HS2” and public sector diversity jobs. Even Labour is currently offering a better tax policy than the Tories.
