A Threat, Not A Promise

No one claims that I have ever sent them a death threat. Literally not a single person in the world. Some of them have hated my guts for years, but none of them would tell you that I had ever sent them a death threat. Not a single one of them. Ask them.

It was no wonder that the Prosecution never called any of them. Just give that a moment to sink in. The Prosecution never called even so much as one of them. Anyone would have thought that the whole thing had been fixed from the start, and that they could not have had any spanners in the works. After all, the verdict, which had been expected in the middle of the following week, arrived less than an hour after the jury had retired on that Thursday afternoon. Ah, the right-wing Labour North East; the County Durham that lasted a century until Super Thursday, 6th May 2021. Shocking, I suppose, to people who did not grow up with it.

Also note the complete lack of comment both from the Council and from the Labour Party when I was convicted, when I was sentenced the first time, when I was imprisoned, and when I was released. On all four occasions, total silence from the Council and total silence from the Labour Party. And from the Police. And from the Crown Prosecution Service. After several years of Northern Echo front pages and Look North lead items, they all had absolutely nothing to say. Four times.

The party is going to try and murder me again, so I wish it all the success that it has had at least twice in the past. By all accounts, the hitman in prison took such a liking to me that he gave the people who had sent me there their money back. The terrorist threat to me is the only part of this whole business that the Police have ever taken seriously. They went on television immediately and said that there was no true threat to Councillors. They have always been on record that they would not have charged me. But they still maintain that the threat to me was and is active. Again, ask them.

Between the Police, the very different political regime that took over in County Durham while I was in prison, and the friends that I made there, then I am very, very well looked after up here. The newspapers to which my stalker sometimes links on Guido Fawkes, where he was characteristically posting about me at 3:15 this morning, once again publish my letters several times per month, always signed "Independent parliamentary candidate for North West Durham, 2019 and 2024". Oliver who?

Kamm's latest pseudonymous but immediately identifiable expression of obsession with me on Guido was about something or other in Private Eye about me, him, and someone whom the records confirm was my tutee but of whom I have almost no memory. Private Eye? Does Kamm imagine that that is widely read among the voters of North West Durham? Does he think that anyone, anywhere reads it as a serious news source? Is that how himself reads Viz? Or The Times, which on 12th March 2018 announced on its front page that Sergei Skripal was dead?

He has the inherited wealth to afford it, so Kamm ought to leaflet every voter, or at least every household, in North West Durham about me in the run-up to the next General Election, and then face me in open debate here on the ground. What larks.
