Some of us have been going on about Marie Stopes and eugenics for years, and years, and years. But it has taken Black Lives Matter to bring about a change in her organisation's name. So much for the assumption that the pro-life movement and Black Lives Matter, each of which has serious faults, are on opposite sides of a "culture war".
A lot of BLM participants in the United States do appear to be white. But most of the ones in Britain are black, and in Britain that makes them vastly more likely than white people to be regular churchgoers. Or even believing Christians, which most black Britons still are, but which most white Britons have ceased to be or never were.
Anti-black racism, and most especially a fear of black men, is fundamental to Keir Starmer's and Carrie Symonds's neoliberal economic policy, identitarian social policy, neoconservative foreign policy, and anti-industrial Malthusianism. But any criticism of that ideology, the ideology of Joe Biden and Kamala Harris, cannot now come from the Left, as that would be Corbynite, and thus "anti-Semitic", as well as election-losing.
Nor can it now come from the Right, as that would be Trumpian, and thus "white supremacist" and "misogynistic", as well as election-losing. According to the Election Infrastructure Government Coordinating Council, there was no fraud whatever in the recent American elections. None. At all. Gosh.
I am a declared and active Independent candidate for the parliamentary seat of North West Durham at the next General Election. Call me whatever you like. Throw anything you like at me, including the ongoing lawfare by Starmer's Crown Prosecution Service. But I will be on that ballot paper.
Gosh! I thought your court troubles were over, David.
