The Never-Ending War

Yet more forces to Afghanistan. Even the very late and strategically absurd claim that they are fighting for some sort of feminist cause there has now been blown out of the water. But still they are sent out to maiming and death. For nothing. For absolutely nothing at all.

    I think the feminist thing is merely an excuse for European NATO members to do nothing while making a moral posture. It was said by the NATO chief who appears to be Dutch. It is only recently & by a judge's decree not an Act of Parliament, that a man's contractual right to have sex with his wife has been ended. The Afghan position here is of great vintage, after all why get married if it doesn't involve sex. Indeed I understand that the Bible details this right & indeed includes the right of a wide to it weekly, or fortnightly if married to a Levite.

    In any case the European members of NATO were enthusiastic about bombing Serb maternity hospitals & the sexual enslavement of thousnads of schoolchildren inn Kosovo so no claim that they care about female (or human) rights should be taken seriously.
