Mass immigration was always going to bite the decision-makers and “opinion-formers” eventually, when it bit their friends and relatives in the upper middle class. And now it is doing just that. How many of them regularly dine with doctors whose offspring are now either junior doctors or medical students?
Those offspring are being trained at public expense, as well they should be. Making the allocation to people from abroad of posts at the next level up a colossal waste of public money, money extracted not least from the decision-makers and “opinion-formers”.
