We're Out

It's up to us now.

  1. There’s nothing the EU fears more than Britain becoming a right-wing low-tax, deregulated Singapore-style “competitor on their doorstep” as Nigel Farage put it.

Boris Johnson is right to pledge no ECJ jurisdiction and no regulatory alignment when we fully leave in December. The Tory Right is in charge now.

    1. Nigel who?

Johnson is too busy renationalising railways. Well, you can do that outside the EU. And this week, listen up for hugely increased spending to stop the Wall from turning Red again.

The Right has nowhere else to go. It is not particularly large in this Parliament, anyway. The Government's majority is local populists from Wales, the Midlands and the North, whose aim in politics is to get money spent on their respective patches. And they will.

    2. The Right is "not particularly large in this Parliament"? That must be the greatest understatement of the post-Brexit era so far.
