Laugh all you like, and not without cause, that Tony Blair has today crossed a picket line in order to deliver a lecture to mark 120 years of the Labour Party.
But he has. A picket line of the University and College Union. In London. Talk about alienating the base.
This time, it really could happen. This may be the "wrong" example of Blair's having brought the Labour Party into disrepute. But it may also be the one that finally sees him expelled from the Labour Party.
