Although theoretically it could be, no law applicable in Saint Helena is made anywhere other than in Saint Helena, much less with no one from Saint Helena present. Nor has it been for a very long time. Britain pays Saint Helena, not the other way round.

The struggle for liberation must therefore be led by those who are embedded in the global anti-imperialist struggle, and who, what luck, have been opposed to the EU for longer than anyone else in British politics. Forget Big Ben. What we need are the spirit and the successors of Big Benn. (We do not talk about Little Benn.)
