It breaks my heart that the party called Labour has adopted the motto, "It'll never work." From the proposed bridge between Scotland and Ireland, than which there are far longer in the world, to the eminently sensible proposal to put Consett on the Metro, the Labour Party jeers as only the hopelessly embittered ever can, or would ever wish to.
But ours is instead the 2020 Vision of a new political party, a new think tank, a new weekly newspaper, a new fortnightly satirical magazine, a new monthly cultural review, a new quarterly academic journal, and so much else besides.
